It’s time to get that walking foot out of the ditch and take it for a drive. Let’s see what it can really do! We will go through a series of test drives with your walking foot to get you acquainted with its features— then learn to prepare, mark and prevent puckers on your quilt!

Sewing machine with a walking foot installed or IDF engaged

Knee lift installed if available

4 Sets of sandwiched muslin

Low loft cotton batting 14’’ x 20’’

Spray baste or basting pins

Small ruler or hem gauge

Fabric-safe marker

18’’ acrylic ruler

Sharpie and notebook
