Have you always wanted to learn to sew but don't know where to begin? Then this class is just for you! In Base Camp you will learn about a sewing machine from threading to bobbin winding to the different stitches. You will practice on various fabrics to "feel" how a machine reacts and use straight stitching, zig zags and more. Learn about must-have sewing supplies, why thread type matters and common sewing terms. At the end of this day you'll be set to venture out and sew!

INCLUDES: Use of sewing machine and basic sewing supplies; printed hand-outs to take home; full instruction; and light lunch.

NOTE: You may want to bring a closed-top water bottle and light sweater as our store is sometimes cool in the mornings.
